Our rescue dogs are kept in "foster homes". The foster parent can tell you about the animal's character, preferences, and other very useful information. Our Goldens are up-to-date with their vaccinations and are spayed or neutered.

Every year between 4 and 8 million animals are euthanized in animal shelters across the United States. Many of these animals are strays, but an astounding number are animals given up or abandoned by people who no longer want them. You can save one of these lives, and give love to a dog who has been sadly neglected. The rewards of helping an animal in need are enormous. Rescue dogs normally bond quickly to an adoptive family.

Goldens are considered "seniors" when they are around 8 years of age, and as any experienced Golden owner will tell you, they just keep getting better with age! Even though they may be white in the face, they are still playful and fun loving, but they are generally calmer than younger dogs. Older Goldens are also exceptionally loving, bond very quickly, and are highly adaptable. The sense of joy people feel in giving an older Golden a new home is unparalleled.
